Really good quality hotel with excellent staff, the room I stayed in was great room to work and a lovely comfortable bed, the bar was buzzy and a good atmosphere to unwind in the evening. Staff were friendly and very helpfull, there was a equal mix d business people and people on a break. Really recommend it

Stayed in Rm124. Small, but comfortable and quiet. Bathroom in need of a refresh, but clean and equipped with everything we needed for one night. Breakfast was very good, staff very helpful and courteous. Great location, right in the middle of Jesmond, close to metro too. Parking at the rear is tight, but very convenient. Good value....

Quaint but big hotel on a busy street with bars, restaurants and other hotels. Big enough to have standards but small enough to see most staff and have small faults with stuff. Rooms are huge and well equipped but corridors could use some …

Excellent hotel and staff. Second stay here. Hotel rooms are spotless and staff are very helpful and accommodating. My husband made a mistake when booking but reception staff rectified it quickly and easily. Next day I fell and injured my ankle, again staff were very helpful and moved us rooms from top floor to ground floor into an assisted room to make access easier for me. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely visit again.

Great location and near lots of cafes and restaurants. Overall, comfortable, clean and quiet which being in a high student accommodation area was nice. Breakfast in the morning was also decent with lots of choice and great hot cooked selection. The only real let down was the service. Maybe just an off day but didn't get a real sense of being friendly and on checkout, no asked if everything had been ok which was disappointing. Everything had been but I would expect this to be a staple thing to ask all customers on checkout. Overall 3.5* out of 5.

Always try to stay here when in Newcastle. Great comfortable hotel in a great area of the city. This stay I had a very warm welcome, room ready early and a surprise upgrade! Breakfast was fabulous and the service fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!
